CINEMATOGRAPHY LR TASK

WWW: - Parallel sound to scenes  Variety of camera shots, movements and angl es EBI: A BETTER ENDING LIKE A blur out instead of abrupt certain shots were shot wrong so perhaps i have to change my style up A bit confusing story to convey OVERALL i'm a bit better and somewhat good at certain aspects of story like emotion and mystery but i can exemplify it better when doing better camera angles I learned a lot when it comes to conveying narrative using camera angles and certain shots it feels more easier to use a camera properly rather than just recording which i find good.

SOUND EDITING FEEDBACK

WWW: Description included  Different genres Well paced editing Contrapuntal worked well EBI: Fit pictures in frame Abrupt ending I really liked Tejals Sabrinas and Payal's videos really well the atmosphere is really set in and the sound parallel and contrapuntal sound I feel like I need to add moving scenes and then it really kicks up my editing skills I have learnt the ways of understanding parallel and contrapuntal sound it really makes me understand the significance of sound and how we can use it to fit and show our narrative in film. It makes it easier to force my imagination onto the audience and make them think differently

We open to the scene of Elliot in an elevator and we see a front shot of everyone in the scene we then see the camera panning around the elevator showing the facial expressions of everyone in the room and their experience with a traumatic event taking place then and there. It focuses on certain things like the news reporting the event that they're going through which further intensifies the scene and portrays a sense of helplessness what's beautiful here is that there are no cuts or transitions throughout this scene which is smooth and pleasing to look at. We are giving inner monologue that explains to us how Elliot is feeling and what he is trying to do it helps us understand how this scene is building up and up until a disaster or problem may occur. There's a continuous pan throughout the scene and a frontal shot and back shot of Elliot as he goes through the office and we rest at his desk. We are then stopped and shoved into an escape scene as Elliot has been fired and

750 WORD ESSAY FOR EDITING

This clip is from a series called Mr. Robot and the editing of this scene really stands out to me it starts off with Darlene the protagonist's sister looking wearily at the time waiting for it to hit 11 you can hear the soundtrack edited in picking up the noise and creating a more tense and serious atmosphere that the heist or break-in has started we can see how each point of perspective is filmed one from the security the other Darlene and the other Elliot all of these POVS describe what is going to occur and how is it going to happen the obvious glare from Darlene at Elliot and the security guard watching Star Wars helps us understand how they may get in. They use juxtaposition really well here using the security guard as the Dilemma and Darlene as the break-in and solution she can also seduce or distract the security guard kinda like a femme fatale. We then see a clever use of POV and panning which helps us understand the guard's thoughts and impressions about Darlene. We

In this video i implement many techniques but first opening the scene i bring out a main character who's concentrated on his phone he then turns it off and moves to open the door which  is one of the conventions that the video had to have.He is then shot from a camera in the back and we see him looking at something TENSE music is played which is diagetic music and parallel to the scene the music abruptly  ends and a character with a puffy jacket walks in and starts conversing with the other character i use different shots in between the scenes from middle shot to a close up in order to hide the actors and only show one at a time this is to of course show that i am speaking to something as i was the only actor who had acted out two different people. We then see i then use a reverse shot from the side sneakily portraying the character without showing his full body as he was the cameraman i brazenly acted out as a easily angered and frustrating individual which the other character is a
