Editing video feedback and learner response

 WWW:

Good use of soundtrack(creates a mysterious atmosphere)

Did all the targeted shots that were asked of

The dialogue was really nice and came along really well

Acting was good

Good script(very descriptive)

750-word essay extra which was good

EBI:

More use of other people instead of myself

Match on action could've been better and done more smoothly

Lines were said a little too fast perhaps talking slowly could help the audience understand more

. Did you meet the brief and successfully include the three key editing aspects we have learned?

Yes i have i believe i could've done the shots a little more accurate to make it work better and i have edited it along with the soundtrack to fit the theme of the story

What were the strengths and weaknesses of your final film? Write a detailed analysis picking out specific shots, edits and any other aspect of film language you think is relevant.

I liked the side shot where my head was at the front and the Christmas tree lit up in the background really brightened the scene more especially when I first saw it.Also the scene where my brother records behind his back signifies that there is a person I am talking to i like that shot.

hat aspect of editing did you find most difficult? What have you learned from this process that will help you when you start the actual coursework later this year?

Definitely the over-shoulder shot as we were only two people me and my brother and doing a shot over him was really hard but we made it work.

I feel like sound is really important especially the soundtrack it helps set the tone and i really like that other than that i like having unique shots wherever i can almost to suprise the audience although i do have a lot more to learn.
